On Friday May 22nd, Linda Thorisdottir successfully defended his doctoral thesis with the title "Visual Screening of Amblyopia, new Techniques and Surgical Solutions for Strabismus."
The defense was held at the Eye Clinic in Lund with the local examination committee members and the supervisors present.
The faculty opponent Professor Olav H Haugen, from Haukeland University Hospital in Bergen, Norway and the external examination committee member joined via link.
The dissertation was broadcasted online and could be followed by the audience in a seperate autiorium or online.
