We have had the pleasure of welcoming two visiting PhD students from Korea, Donghyun Lee and Donggyu Kim, to Lund University Photoacoustic Center.

On September 9–10, within the framework of the SKERIC Future Laureates Societal Challenges Programme, we had two visiting PhD students from Korea, Donghyun Kim and Donggyu Lee, to Lund University Photoacoustic Center. Their group has world-leading technical expertise, and we look forward to building a fruitful collaboration in the development of photoacoustic imaging.

From our side, the meeting gathered our PhD students Magne Stridh and Paulina Ibek. Together, we discussed future opportunities where the combination of technical excellence and clinical implementation can advance precision diagnostics.

This visit marks an exciting step towards strengthening the international network around photoacoustics – bringing us closer to innovative solutions that will benefit patients worldwide.
