On Friday April 29th, Johanna Berggren successfully defended her doctoral thesis with the title "Perfusion Monitoring in Oculoplastic Reconstructive Surgery."
The defence was held at the Medical Faculty in Lund with faculty opponent, examination committee members, supervisors and audience present in the auditorium.
The faculty opponent Clinical Assistant Professor at Nova Southerbeastern University USA, Dan Georgescu gave a short introduction to the topic followed by a presentation of the thesis by Johanna. After a deep and interesting discussion between Johanna, the opponent and examination committee it was announced that Johanna had successfully defended her PhD and was awarded the PhD title.
