On Friday the November 24th, Kajsa Tenland successfully defended her doctoral thesis with the title "Reconstruction of Large Eyelid Defects Using Tarsoconjunctival Flaps, Opportunities for Novel Surgical Techniques".

The defense was held at the Medical Faculty in Lund with faculty opponent, examination committee members, supervisors and audience present in the auditorium.

The dissertation act began by Kajsa presenting her thesis, after which a deep and interesting discussion between Kajsa and the faculty opponent Associate professor Dyonne Hartong from Amsterdam followed. The examination committee members also asked some question.

It was then announced that Kajsa had successfully defended her PhD and was awarded the PhD title.
